5th Dimension Tour: Osaka City Hall Day 01

Note: Expect no pictures nor videos except text for this entire post.

Finally, Day 01 for 5th Dimension Tour started with mononofus queueing for goods when I opened Plume on my Galaxy Tab 7.7 and the queue that is already formed. 1000 mononofus were already in line!

Cut the crap and moved on to what happened on Twitter throughout the day:

1) Light sticks were prohibited for some parts of the concert. Instead, 5th Dimension Bands (Xylobands) were distributed to fans upon entry.

2) 5th Dimension bands were wore around the wrist. During the concert, different colors will light up accordingly.

3) Entry was slightly delayed.

4) Shadow announcer: Ariyasu Momoka. She was explaining thing to note when she accidentally fumbled and everyone had a great laugh.

Soon after that, a monitor showing “Time left until you may use your Pen Light: 140 Min”

Opening sequence wasn’t explained in detail but it includes elements like fire, fireworks, laser and awesome lighting. No overture for this.

And we shall enter into each song and how the 5th Dimension Bands work their way.

1) Neo STARGATE

Lights were beaming out from the band. You can’t choose your oshi colours. When the small lights beams out and when many many small lights gather, it turn out to be a very pretty sight. Especially from you see it from afar. Even when it comes to the solo parts, the band lights up together. It was noted that Aarin was about to “faint” from the first song. But luckily that did not happened.

2) Kasou Dystopia (Virtual Dystopia)

This time round, the band did not light up. Nor any light sticks were on. Theme or feel of the song was not written.

3) Mou Retsu

4) 5 the Power

Song begun in a rap tune. 5th Dimension bands started to light up.

5) Roudou Sanka

6) Geddan! (Get Down?)

No lights nor light sticks

7) Otome Sensou

<Performance>

8) Tsuki to Gingami Hikousen (The moon and Silver Airship)

A little change in costume.

9) Birth Ø Birth

No lights at all again! Change in costume to the third type. Not full mask for now.

10) Joykyu Monogatari -Carpe diem-

-nothing written for this. =/

11) Soratobu! Ozashiki Ressha

A fun song that feels like Choo Choo train..

12) Saraba, Itoushiki Kanashimitachi yo

13) Hai to Diamond

A ballade.

Song ended with a cool performance.

At this time, monitor was showing “7 more mins before you could start using your light stick”. It was this time, the MV for Neo STARGATE started. Exactly the one you show on YouTube moments back.

As soon as that ended, the countdown to using of light stick started. As soon as it hit zero, Overture started.

Soon after that, set list as per follows:

14) Contradiction

MC: Self-introduction

Kodomo Matsuri

5th May is marked as Children’s Day in Japan (Different from the 1st October celebrated in my country). And what else did Momoclo did to celebrate this day? Well, have a concert for their young fans. Momokuro no Kodomo Matsuri Dayo!

Held at Toda City’s Cultural Hall, many young mononofus attended the concert. But I do believe other “out of children” age fans attended it as well. =D

The following is the set list for their concert today:

1) MC (Opening story – 45min)
2) Aarin Ha Hankouki (Aarin’s Solo)
3) Tsugaruhantou Tappizaki (Reni’s Solo)
4) MC (Momoclo’s talk, exercise and Hi-Ge dance)
5) Kyouiku (Momoka’s Solo)
6) Namidame no Alice (Shiorin’s Solo)
7) Nagisa no Lalala (Kanakou’s Solo)
8) MC (Scary stories)
9) (Self-introduction, followed by) Koko Natsu
10) Mite Mite Kocchicchi (New Song. Pokemon ED)
11) Z no Owaranai Densetsu

Looking at their set list, well, many fans commented that it’s much more suitable for their audience today.  And revealed at today’s live, Mite Mite Kocchicchi, which will be used as a new ending theme song for Pokemon.

Flower from the Pokemon team.

Who knows, but maybe Pikachu is a Shiorin Oshi.. =/

There is not much photos from official sources yet, but once there is, I will update this place.  And in the mean time, no other news is announced (For eg, the much anticipated Malaysia live) =((

Well, Happy Children’s Day from me. =D
